crazy crossing adventure!

We recently moved from our home in CT to a brand new house in Washington! Now when i say brand new i mean it! this house is custom made for later like living. Built FOR us and us alone! Exciting? YES! So we had to move of course! See the thing with THIS trip we crossed the country! Exciting? YESS!!! Well this you see is a problem! 6 kids, one van, One moving truck, two adults and a teenager going to collage that we dropped off in Idaho! See the problem! Oh but this is just the foundation to our tower of insanity! On our first day we encountered the second layer to our tower! Our cars window stopped working! my mom rolled it down to talk to my dad! It never rolled back up! So the first day on the job and the van children must suffer from the loud, LOUD, LOUD, car window! So the next day we make a side trip to a close Walmart to stalk up on tools to "fix" the car. This takes an hour or so (meaning A LOT!) to take off the inside of the door loose a piece and manually hold up the window and duck tape it into place! If only this was ENOUGH!!! In South Dakota we managed to kill our car when a woman rammed her car into our suburban thinking she had the light! Now you can really feel for our family! WE had to get to Washington!STAT!!! We rented a smaller car with 7 seats just enough and left the next day! By the time we got here our tower of insanity couldn't get any higher without falling and crushing us and we prayed nothing would happen! Lucky for us we were finally safe! Now we are in our house slowly building up our usual routine and a tower of insanity we can manage!!
